About the SaintS

The SaintS Scenario Paintball team was founded in 1994 by a group of friends who became instantly hooked on the adrenaline rush that paintball provides. This group had an existing camaraderie that helped propel them to one of Chicagoland’s most respected and revered scenario teams. The teams reputation for being a “General’s Team” was and still is unmatched.
At the end of the 2006 season, the founding members stepped away from the team they had spent 12 years building and left it to the next generation of like-minded players. That is when I took over the reins. The same principles of teamwork, sportsmanship, character, & camaraderie that SaintS Scenario Paintball was founded on continue today.
The initial response to the SaintS first ever open recruiting in 2007 was huge, too big in fact. We had too many people with too many different visions of where a team should go and more importantly how it should get there. As a result, the Chicago Heretics and the Modern Day Knights were formed from former members of the SaintS. The three teams are in no way affiliated with one another, but since camaraderie was formed on the field, we still play exceptionally well with one another.
The SaintS spent the majority of the 2007 and 2008 seasons at CPX Sports in Joliet, IL honing our skills against elite mil-sim teams such as the Hellions, and Team Fugazi, as well as other excellent scenario teams such as Ground Control, team S.P.E.A.R. and the Chicago Heretics, taking home several Scenario/Big Game awards in the process.
The 2009 season saw the birth of the SaintS/S.P.E.A.R. Alliance (S.S.A.). The alliance was formed to keep two teams that work well together, playing together. The alliance was highly successful in it’s first two seasons. In 3 events attended, the alliance has been awarded with 2 Most Valuable Team Awards and 1 Most Valuable Player award.
2010 saw a scaling back of the schedule due to the tough economy as well as personal obligations of team members. The SaintS played in 4 events, 1 with the S.S.A. As stated above, the alliance was again bestowed with honors as taking home the Most Valuable Team award.
